Nana Baffour, CFA
Chairman and Director

Mr. Baffour, co-founded Midas Medici Group Holdings, Inc. in 2009 and has grown it from inception to its current global platform. Prior to co-founding Midas, Mr. Baffour was a Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Knox Lawrence International, LLC (“KLI”), an energy services investment company that has completed over $600 million in acquisitions. Mr. Baffour has led acquisitions, integrations, financings and held operating roles including President and CEO for different energy services companies during his tenure at KLI. Mr. Baffour currently serves as Board Member of Dearborn Mid-West Conveyor Co. as well as Chair of the Advisory Board of the University of Utah Opportunity Scholars Program.

Prior to co-founding KLI, Mr. Baffour was an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston in Europe and the US, where he was directly involved in billions of dollars of M&A and financing transactions for utilities, including clean energy companies and did the first capital markets wind financing transaction. Mr. Baffour started his career in finance as a Credit Analyst for CIT Group and was an equity portfolio analyst at Standard and Poor’s. Mr. Baffour received his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, a Master of Science in Economics from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Lawrence University. Mr. Baffour who also attended The London Business School is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

 

Johnson Kachidza
Director

Mr. Kachidza, co-founded Midas Medici Group Holdings, Inc. in 2009 and has served as President and Chief Financial Officer since its inception. Prior to co-founding Midas, Mr. Kachidza was a Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Knox Lawrence International, LLC (“KLI”), an energy services investment company that has completed over $600 million in acquisitions. During his tenure at KLI, Mr. Kachidza has led acquisitions, integrations, and held operating positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for different energy services companies. Mr. Kachidza currently serves as a board member of Dearborn Midwest Conveyor Company and also sits on the Board of Directors of Shared Interest, a non-profit organization focused on micro-lending.

Prior to co-founding KLI, Mr. Kachidza was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan Chase, where he was directly involved in billions of dollars of M&A and debt and equity financing transactions in the energy sector. Mr. Kachidza began his career as a project engineer at General Electric and holds US patent #5686795 for an innovative fluorescent lamp design. Mr. Kachidza received his MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Knox College.

 

Justin Beckett
Director

Mr. Beckett founded affinitytv247, Inc. (formerly Muse Media, Inc. and BTV247, Inc.) and currently serves as the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  affinitytv247 is a digital media company that is focused on the aggregation and Internet distribution of internet based affinity programming. Mr. Beckett also founded Fluid Audio Networks, Inc., which provides an online digital music distribution system, and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2004 to 2008. Mr. Beckett has over twenty years of entrepreneurial experience and has focused exclusively on developing Internet based consumer product applications since 2000. Mr. Beckett's recent initiatives include the founding and sale of SkillJam Technologies Corporation to FUN Technologies in 2004; the founding and sale of Music Gaming Inc. to Intermix Media, Inc. in 2001; the design and sale of an IP-based video on demand application to Visutel Technologies in 2003; and the co-founding of Measurematics Inc. in 2003. Prior to Mr. Beckett's involvement in Internet based consumer product applications, he was Executive Vice-President and principal of Sloan Financial Group, an investment management firm from 1986 to 2000. Mr. Beckett has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University.

 

Hank Torbert
Director

Mr. Torbert is currently founder and managing partner of Avondale Ventures, LLC and has over 10 years of experience in private equity, advisory, investment banking and the development of small and middle market media and communications companies. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Torbert served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Broadcast Capital, a media-focused private equity firm with a twenty-five year history. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Torbert was an investment banker at JPMorgan Chase where he served as a vice president of the Financial Sponsor Group, Middle Market Banking, at JPMorgan Chase Bank. There, he was responsible for sourcing and financing private equity investment opportunities for financial sponsors investing in the middle market. Additionally, he completed over $100 billion in transactions in the media and telecommunications industry as a senior associate in the Equity Capital Markets Group, at JPMorgan Securities. At present, Mr. Torbert serves as a strategic advisor to several companies, including Tunaverse. He is an Advisory Board member of Celeritas Management and serves on the Board of Directors at Medstar Research Institute and Strive DC. Mr. Torbert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and earned both a Masters degree in International Finance and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University.

 

André Brosseau
Director

Mr. Brosseau is CEO of Avenue Capital Markets Inc., a business bank based in Montreal, Canada.  He was formerly President of Blackmont Capital from 2007 to 2010. For 21 years Mr. Brosseau was Managing Director, Head of Cash Equities and Co-Head of Global Cash Equities at CIBC World Markets where he was involved in some of the most important capital market transactions in Canada. Mr. Brosseau is a director of Kangaroo Media Inc., a technology company based in Montreal, and a director of Production Enhancement Group, Inc., an oil well servicing company based in Houston Texas. He is also the Co-chair of The Company Theatre, a not-for-profit organization located in Toronto. Mr. Brosseau holds a BS in Politics and Economics and an MS in Political Science from the Université de Montréal.
