It refers to the use of statistical methods and models as well as empirical data to support the process of making business decisions. The purpose of the module is to provide a general overview of law relevant to students working in business and finance. The course provides an introduction to law, before focusing in more depth on areas of Contract Law and Tort Law.

College Level /dual level classes should be shown on a transcript or certificate and named as academic subject to be taken in the USA. In this unit, you will learn the process of creating and building a new business venture. You will explore a range of case studies and identify and evaluate the role of creativity in business start-ups. This bootcamp provides you with an opportunity to understand how data gathering through effective research can support your studies. We shall also discuss the different methods by which you can gather information either quantitatively or qualitatively . This unit is self-initiated and will involve you taking a legitimate Industry placement opportunity, regarded by you and your unit leader as an appropriate and unique professional experience.

Our programmes are designed to give you the academic knowledge and practical skills to become a competent and confident professional. The module gives an overview of international business context in today’s global economy. You’ll cover themes including related globalisation and regionalisation, as well as firm internationalisation and institutional environments. The programme is for graduates in non-business subjects without previous managerial experience or those who wish to deepen their understanding of the management process. This module provides comprehensive insights into graduate employability and career development for Business Management students.

You will receive remote access to your learning resources so you can learn from home as well as campus. No, you can only send one UCAS application in each year’s application cycle, but this can include applications for up to five courses. If you are no longer at school or college you will need to apply to university as an independent applicant.

The Birmingham International Academy also offers pre-sessional English courses, which you can take to improve your spoken and written English in preparation for academic study. If you have a conditional offer you can attend one of these courses instead of retaking IELTS. We will consider students for entry to the Birmingham Foundation Academy who have completed their first year at a recognised institution in the Philippines and obtained good grades in all subject areas.
